Yardstick Services Congratulates WordZite Security on Receiving 2026 Ethics Award

Everyone at Yardstick Services Inc. would like to congratulate WordZite Security Inc. on being named the recipient of the 2026 Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce Ethics Award, sponsored by the Better Business Bureau of Mainland BC. The award was presented during the annual and recognizes organizations that demonstrate integrity, accountability, community leadership, and ethical business practices.

As WordZite’s parent company, we have had the privilege of watching the organization grow from an idea into an internationally trusted service provider focused on protecting websites, educating users, and strengthening trust online.

What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that WordZite’s growth has always been guided by a strong commitment to helping others — whether that means supporting clients, contributing to the open-source WordPress community, or giving back locally.

One of the initiatives highlighted in the award submission was WordZite Security’s free WordPress security scanner, which is now used daily by developers and website professionals around the world. The tool helps identify website vulnerabilities while improving awareness and education around WordPress security best practices.

Cybersecurity can often feel intimidating or inaccessible for smaller organizations and website owners. WordZite’s mission has always been to help make the web safer through practical tools, education, and transparency.

Supporting Important Community Work

We are also proud of the ongoing community work completed jointly by Yardstick Services and WordZite Security in support of an annual awareness campaign for Children of the Street, a prevention and intervention program managed by PLEA Community Services. Each year, our teams provide pro-bono support to help further the organization’s important work protecting vulnerable youth and raising awareness about exploitation and human trafficking throughout British Columbia.

Community partnerships like these are deeply important to us and remain a core part of both organizations’ values.
