Aunt Leah’s
The Challenge
When Aunt Leah’s initially approached us, they had a great team with the skills and resources to manage their website. But, they were working with a very slow and inefficient website. The old site was not very well built — it had become a kind of Frankenstein over the years, with mismatched bits and pieces added by various parties without much regard for the overall structure and logic. In addition, the user experience was confusing and not very visually appealing for their target audiences.
Priority number one was to create a site that was visually attractive and tonally appropriate, and that would reflect the importance of the work they were doing.
The Solution
We designed a brand new website for Aunt Leah’s that not only explains the amazing things they do for youth in the community, but also makes it easier for people to donate to the cause. Aunt Leah’s new website features prominent, highly visible calls to action that allow supporters to donate with a few clicks.
We offer a reduced rate for not-for-profit businesses, and so we were able to work with Aunt Leah’s to find a project plan that worked for their needs and their budget.
The Results
Since the launch of the improved Aunt Leah’s website, we’ve had nothing but rave reviews from people who love the updated, intuitive design. Aunt Leah’s was so happy with their new website they decided to hire us to build an ecommerce site for their thrift store, as well as a new website for their housing program, the Friendly Landlord Network.
