As our experienced SEO Strategist, Kristen skillfully audits, develops, implements, and reports on effective search engine optimization strategies for client websites that help boost their visibility within organic search results. She prides herself in getting results using white-hat SEO practices and following Google’s guidelines.

Kristen earned a diploma in Internet Applications & Web Development from Durham College and has more than 12 years of hands-on experience as an SEO specialist at several agencies across Canada. Her background in web development and design gives her a strong foundation in how websites work, and she applies this knowledge to every project to develop winning strategies for clients in a multitude of verticals. As SEO is a fast-moving field, Kristen stays up to date by regularly reviewing the Google Webmaster Central Blogs and other relevant resources to ensure she’s providing clients with the best strategies possible.

Kristen enjoys the unique challenges that each new company website brings because the fun is in the problem-solving that helps clients move the needle and get the results they desire. She loves identifying opportunities to help clients achieve their goals by understanding their business and the target audience. The highlight for her is the feeling of accomplishment when strategic changes to a website pay off in the form of improved organic traffic performance!

When she’s not figuring out how to optimize client websites, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and tabby cat at home or exploring her local area in Halifax.

    Facts About Kristen

    1. A self-proclaimed dinosaur fanatic who has watched Jurassic Park over 100 times.
    2. Once came in second place in a Pi day competition in which the goal was to recite the most digits in Pi (was able to recite up to the 50th digit, coming second to someone who could recite up to the 100th digit)!
    3. Most memorable trip was when what was supposed to be a family reunion in New Brunswick turned into a road trip to Disneyworld in Florida.
    4. Moved from Toronto to Halifax in 2017 and is absolutely loving the East Coast!
