Dallas Jeffs

As Yardstick’s resident copywriter, it’s Dallas’ job to pick the brains of the Yardstick team and clients, then turn those brilliant thoughts into clear, informative, and engaging articles and website copy.

Dallas has over 5 years of experience in writing for various publications both on and offline. He’s written web copy and technical documentation in a variety of fields, from fine art to real estate to biomedical engineering. Dallas obtained his certificate in Technical Writing from BCIT in 2019, and has since been applying the interview and information structuring skills learned therein to help people of all areas and levels of expertise better understand technical concepts.

Dallas loves talking to people who are experts in their field, and translating high-level ideas and concepts into a format that can be easily understood by the widest possible audience. He has a great passion for editing, treating language like a puzzle where the goal is to convey an idea in the simplest terms possible.

When not at work, Dallas can be found at the gym, out hiking, rock climbing, running, or indulging his artistic side, sketching imaginary designs for sci-fi spaceships.
